Conyers’ BVI office is proud to announce our sponsorship of the BVI Olympic Committee’s 2024 Tahesia Harrigan-Scott Elite Athlete Scholarship Fund. The programme provides much needed funding to high-performing athletes in the form of a direct monthly stipend to assist them in their preparations for the Olympic Games.

BVI Managing Partner, Mark Forte, commented: “We are pleased to be able to support such a worthwhile community initiative which puts the BVI on the world stage for all the right reasons.  In many ways, the Conyers team identifies with the values of these hardworking athletes who consistently show commitment and dedication to their crafts.  Our heartfelt congratulations to all involved – we hope this will help them to continue to excel in their individual categories and have no doubt they will make the BVI community proud.”

Congratulations to each of the five BVI athletes identified by the National Federations as being on track to qualifying for the Olympic Games based on their stellar performance records nationally, regionally and internationally: Kyron McMaster OLY (400m hurdles), Chantel Malone OLY (long jump), Eldred Henry OLY (shot put), Rikkoi Brathwaite (100m), Adaejah Hodge (200m) and Thad Lettsome (ICLA laser).

The scholarship programme is just one of several corporate social responsibility initiatives sponsored by the Conyers BVI team, in line with our ongoing commitment to supporting local charities and non-governmental organisations.
