A cross-jurisdictional team from Conyers has advised ArcLight Capital Partners on its acquisition of certain solar operations owned by Sonnedix, the global solar independent power producer. ArcLight’s Infinigen renewables platform will own 100% of Sonnedix’s “Puerto Rico Operation”. The “Puerto Rico Operations” is comprised of two operating solar PV plants – Oriana and Horizon – totaling 73.2MW, and a dedicated operating and asset management team, plus other entities pursuing additional solar and battery energy storage in Puerto Rico. The transaction is expected to close in two stages between December 2021 and March 2022, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.

Counsel Nicholas Kuria of Conyers’ BVI office, Partner Guy Cooper of Conyers’ Bermuda office, Partner Matthew Stocker and Associate Frank Farrell of Conyers’ Cayman Islands office worked on the matter alongside Latham & Watkins, US counsel to ArcLight.
