Conyers provided Cayman Islands legal advice to CM Hi-Tech Cleanroom Limited (“CM Hi-Tech”)in connection with its privatisation by Mayair HK Holdings Limited by way of a scheme of arrangement under section 86 of the Companies Act. The maximum amount of cash consideration payable would be approximately HK$239 million.

CM Hi-Tech, founded in 1989 in Malaysia as a cleanroom equipment trading business, has expanded alongside Asia’s cleanroom industry. By 1995, CM Hi-Tech established its first production facility, Micron Technology, to manufacture cleanroom equipment under the Micron brand.
