Prior to joining Conyers, Sonia has:
- Assisted in the establishment, registration and recognition of new funds for offer in Singapore, termination of funds and annual relodgment work for local and international fund houses.
- Assisted in the incorporation and redomiciliation of variable capital companies.
- Advised clients on restricted schemes offering to accredited and institutional investors in Singapore, reviewing the relevant offering documents and drafting the information memorandum and subscription agreement.
- Drafted fund offering documents, including the prospectus, product highlights sheet and trust deed.
- Reviewed various agreements relating to fund management, such as investment management agreements, custodian agreements and fund administration services agreements.
- Liaised with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited and the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority.
