Conyers Dill & Pearman has received top-tier rankings in a number of categories in the Chambers Global 2019 legal directory, including Band 1 for Offshore Global-wide.
Christian Luthi, Director and Chairman, said: “We are delighted once again to receive such excellent rankings, collectively as a firm, for our practice areas and for individual lawyers. These results highlight Conyers’ position as a leading international law firm and are testament to the quality of service and level of expertise we provide to our clients worldwide.”
Chambers comments that Conyers “continues to be noted as an outstanding choice for transactional and contentious matters” and is “regularly mandated on high-value IPOs and debt capital markets issuances, as well as being applauded for its understanding of Bermudian regulatory insurance issues”. Clients said: “Conyers’ key strength is their reliability and consistent quality of delivery.”
In Bermuda the firm is recognised as “the dominant player in the market” and clients said: “Across Cayman and BVI law, they are excellent at providing pragmatic, technical advice.” Chambers adds: “Clients additionally value the firm’s well-established Hong Kong team, which has an especially strong track record for capital markets matters.”
2018 remained an active year for the firm globally. We advised on several major deals and high-profile cases, including:
