Conyers provided Cayman Islands legal advice to Vinda International Holdings Limited (“Vinda”) in connection with its HK$26.1 billion (US$3.3 billion) privatisation by way of voluntary general offer followed by compulsory acquisition by Asia Pacific Resources International Limited, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Isola Castle Ltd, as the offeror.

Vinda was listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (Stock Code: 3331) and is a large-scale hygiene company in Asia integrating R&D, production and sales. Vinda’s core business segments include tissue, incontinence care, feminine care, baby care and professional hygiene solutions under key brands Vinda, Tempo, Tork, TENA, Dr. P, Libresse, Libero and Drypers.
