The Student Gap Year Internship is a 6-8 month paid programme to support high-potential, recent graduates from our local senior schools, or those already enrolled in an undergraduate programme, who have put their studies on hold for a year for financial or personal reasons, primarily as a result of Covid-19.
The program combines meaningful work experience in some of the firm’s key business services departments, such as compliance and finance, to give interns a unique opportunity to gain an understanding of the legal services industry.
“Our student program is core to building the firm’s future talent pipeline. Our primary goal for this program is to enable students to have an enriching experience to learn about, contribute to and make an impact on our firm’s culture, people and business,” said Lisa Spencer-Arscott, Global Head of Human Resources.
There are four internships available.
The firm invites applications from Bermudian students enrolled (or deferred) in an associate or undergraduate degree program starting in either January 2021/September 2021. Applicants should have strong computer skills and ability to learn technical applications and processes quickly, a self-starter attitude, ability to organize, prioritize and manage time, and effective oral and written communication skills. Previous corporate (office) experience is a plus.
Conyers invites interested Bermudian students to apply by sending a covering letter and resume to [email protected] by 25 September.
